Finsol 2.0 - What's Changed?

They say a change is as good as a holiday, and our brand reset and website rebuild has been a welcome shift here at Finsol.

Why the changes?

One of our company values is Kaizen, a Japanese business philosophy that translates to "continuous improvement" or "change for the better." We implement Kaizen by finding new, better ways of doing things to streamline our processes and service.

After experiencing growth over the last few years, it was only fitting that we had a brand refresh and a website upgrade to reflect our expansion. Our old blue branding had been around for a while, and we were overdue for a change.

What's changed?

We have a whole new look: logo, colours, imagery and website. While the visuals are new, our team and service remain the same.

If you're an existing Finsol client, rest assured that nothing has changed regarding your insurance, home loans, or KiwiSaver.

The process.

"Design is the silent ambassador of your brand." - Paul Rand

We're decisive folk, and we knew we wanted something elegant, minimal and totally different from our previous blue and white branding. So, we called in the professionals.

Aaron from Font Studio worked his creative magic and nailed the brief, delivering a unique, understated design. The unique font Aaron chose for our logo is also used throughout our branding, with individual letters used as graphic elements. The green tones are a nod to nature and growth, an apt analogy to nurturing financial wellbeing.

Aaron also helped create our eye-catching abstract imagery using various wooden props, pick-up sticks, and plant shadows.

We chose to do away with traditional business cards and opted for a digital version from Kis cards that shares contact details with a simple tap on the recipient's phone. Dan and the legends from Sign Central in Hawke's Bay took care of our office and vehicle signage.

Standing out from the crowd.

With Aaron working away behind the scenes on our logo and branding, we had the arduous task of a website rebuild on our hands. It's no secret that a killer website can make an enormous difference to a business, and we wanted a site that would elevate Finsol - while still being user-friendly.

Enter Studio Almond. Creators of a dazzling array of websites - some award-winning - we knew the team at Almond were up to the challenge of transforming our website.

And transform they did. Part of our brief was "make our website cool, but not too cool that it will scare people off", and somehow Almond managed to take our vague request and deliver a stylish, captivating, modern site.

Another reason we chose to work with Almond is their commitment to building websites from scratch - not a template in sight.

Putting ourselves out there.

As part of our ongoing digital marketing strategy, we work with Powerhouse Agency to reach future clients online and increase brand awareness. The team at Powerhouse are exceptional at what they do.

To 2022 and beyond.

With our much-needed brand refresh complete, we feel proud, professional, and ready to forge ahead. Don't underestimate the power of change - keep calm and Kaizen on.
