Amanda Morris-Jenkins
My husband and I have two lovely children who keep us busy here in Hawke’s Bay. I am a homebody who enjoys getting out in the garden, baking and having a good laugh with friends and family when time permits. I strongly believe in treating others the way I would like to be treated and this is always forefront in my mind with any interactions I have with clients.
In terms of experience, I hold a Legal Executive Diploma and Level 5 Certificate in Financial Advice Services specialising in Residential Lending. My work history includes administrative roles in local government, legal and civil engineering companies. This has led to enhancing my skillset of legislative and procedural work.
I am the Home Loan Manager here at Finsol, which entails the smooth running of our lending team, ensuring our processes are engaging, simple and informative for our clients.

Anne Oldham
I’ve worked in admin support for over twenty years in both New Zealand and Australia. I have completed the Level 5 Financial Advice Services qualification in Life, Disability & Health Insurance, a Diploma in Business Administration, and I have also completed the Strategi Compliance Officer Course.
Day to day, I assist the Insurance team with the ACC CoverPlus Extra process, reviewing exclusions on all insurance policies, keeping track of advice compliance, and managing accounts. It’s a busy, varied role, and it has been exciting to see Finsol grow in the time that I’ve been here.
I’m mum to my two young daughters, who keep me busy outside of work with their after-school activities. My husband and I really enjoy getting away when we can with our girls, and when we get a night off parenting, we enjoy live music.
Danya Kubba
After completing my bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from the University of Massey in Auckland, I have spent the last several years working in the insurance industry.
Working for leading providers, including IAG and Southern Cross Travel Insurance, has allowed me to gain in-depth knowledge of the insurance world, enabling me to focus on helping clients find the ideal solution for their insurance needs.
My role at Finsol is providing clients with customised insurance advice tailored to their individual needs. I work closely with clients one on one to ensure that they are getting the right product(s) that reflect their situation.
Outside of work, I have a large family and my six-year-old boy who all keep me busy.
Doug White
I’ve been in the banking game for the last twenty years, and before joining Finsol, I was a Business Manager for Kiwibank for eight years. I hold both Level 5 Financial Advice with Investment and Residential Lending certificates.
I really enjoy helping Kiwi businesses and their owners succeed and ride the journey with them.
My niche is being honest and real with all interactions with clients and always giving a fit for purpose solution, and at times that’s not always lending related.
Gareth Dobson
I'm a Financial Adviser with over twelve years of experience working with business owners and professionals. I've won multiple NZFSG, insurer, industry awards, and most recently, the Booster KiwiSaver Movers and Shakers Award for Central Region. I have a relentless passion for learning and self-improvement and have obtained my National Certificate in Insurance and the New Zealand Certificate strands in Residential Lending, Investments and FSCE19.
We have one clear goal at Finsol; to create better and more robust financial futures for our clients reflected in the quality of our advice and dedication to all the Kiwis that put their trust in us. I'm incredibly proud of what we all stand for here at Finsol – our client-first approach is evident in everything we do.
A healthy mind starts with a healthy body, so I'm a regular at the local Muay Thai gym and out in the ocean, where I love to surf. I live on the Waimārama coast on a lifestyle block with my family.
Jena Adriano
Over the past eight years, I've progressed steadily in financial services, starting as a General Accountant at Accenture PH before becoming a Finance Analyst. In this role, I handled bookkeeping and year-end preparations, refining my financial operations expertise. Transitioning to a Finance Assistant role in the UK's Esports/Gaming sector, I advanced to Financial Controller with dedication and hard work.
My journey demonstrates a commitment to growth, adaptability, and excellence across diverse environments. I believe in pushing boundaries and treating others with respect.
Outside work, I love travelling with family and friends and meeting new people. While I enjoy adventure, I also find joy in spending time at home organising and planning.
Jessey Karaitiana
For the past three years, I have been in the hospitality industry working at Hapī with an amazing team of women, and before that, I worked at Hohepa for two years as a support worker, which I loved. I'm excited to make the shift into a new industry.
In my role at Finsol, I support the advisers and work alongside the other support staff, making life easier for clients and the rest of the team.
Outside of work, I'm a mum to our little girl Pera who's five and wife to my husband, Nash; we've been together since we were 18. In our free time, we love travelling as a family, fishing, skiing and spending time with our whānau!
Kareem Hanna
With over fifteen years of experience in client management, including twelve years within the banking sector in New Zealand and internationally, I have a track record in client engagement and providing tailored solutions. Holding a Level 5 Lending qualification complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Management, I have the knowledge and expertise to navigate complex financial landscapes.
I love helping people achieve their property goals and take immense pride in looking after my clients. Relationships come first, and once we agree on a plan, I aim to make things as easy as possible. Securing finance can be stressful - my goal is to simplify the process.
Whether guiding first-home buyers, facilitating the acquisition of investment properties, or assisting with refinancing and mortgage adjustments, I am dedicated to accompanying clients through every step of their journey.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Matthew Wright
Before commencing my career in financial services I was a Registered Nurse for 12 years working in a variety of countries and areas. I have been at the front end of medical treatment and know the importance of effective medical care and having the correct insurance to cover any misfortunes with health and wealth.
I studied investing as a hobby for the last four years before I decided to take the plunge and complete my financial services qualification. I now get to bring my passion to work.
I have a young family; a little boy and a girl, we currently live on a lifestyle block in Waitarere Beach. As a family, we enjoy cycling, exploring the world and hiking the many trails around us.
Nadeesha Ranasinghe
Since I was in my teens, I've studied accounting: in Sri Lanka, we pick our major at 16. I had my first taste in the sales industry while attending Massey University, Majoring in Accounting, which led to an exciting sales career in 2011 with many years in the ventilation and heat pump industry.
After taking some time out to have my two beautiful children, I returned to the workforce as adviser support at Finsol. I help the lending team and our clients as they navigate the world of home loans. My husband is self-employed, so we had first-hand experience of how difficult it can be for sole traders and small-medium business owners to get a mortgage application approved. This experience stayed with me and has been pivotal in how I choose to work with my clients.
When I'm not working, I spend a lot of time with my family; we love getting out and enjoying bush walks, beaches, and everything nature has to offer. We're also fond of a weekend getaway.
Paul Ejamme
I’ve always been a number lover. My career in the financial services industry started after a long stint at Massey University, completing my Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and Economics. Prior to joining the Finsol team, I worked in the financial services industry in various roles for approximately five and a half years. I hold either the National or New Zealand Financial Services Certifcates in relation to life and health insurance, residential lending, and investments.
I head up our growing home loan team and guide people from all walks of life through the mortgage process. It’s challenging at times, but I find it so rewarding helping people, especially first home buyers. As well as working on the advice side of the company, I’m one of the directors of Finsol alongside Gareth.
I’m a busy Dad when I’m not working, and I love spending as much time as possible with my wife and two young children. We enjoy getting out and about and exploring beautiful spots around the country when we get the chance.
Pip McFaul
I’ve worked across various customer service and sales roles. I was at Spark for 17 years, and during that time, I worked in nearly every sector, from retail to business sales. More recently, I was with a corporate sportswear company as an account manager and customer support, and before that, I worked in private tertiary education.
Previously at Finsol I provided support for the entire Finsol insurance team. I've recently completed my financial services and qualifications and will be working alongside Gareth providing wealth protection and insurance advice to business owners and professionals.
When I’m not at work, I love the outdoors and enjoy getting out and going for walks all over the place with my family – I’m mum to three boys. We also get to the beach as much as possible. I’m also a regular gym-goer and really into health and fitness.
Samara Ajjam
I am super excited to be joining the Finsol office where I am able to provide support to the busy adviser team.
Coming from previous customer facing/administration roles has enabled me to gain extensive knowledge and skills in many areas, these include completing large work tasks that require a great deal of attention, how to have excellent communication skills and how to navigate systems quickly and effectively. I love that I can now implement these skills into the advisor support role and help both the clients and advisors.
Outside of work you'll find me at the gym, cooking a meal or connecting with family and friends.
Stephanie Dobson
I discovered my love of writing in 2009 when I started a beauty blog, and I went on to write for various beauty websites and magazines before starting my career as a freelance copywriter. After completing social media marketing training, I expanded my services and entered the marketing world. I contracted to Finsol for a few years before officially joining the team as Marketing Manager in 2020.
The team at Finsol make my job easy – they're incredibly dedicated, inspired and provide an exceptional level of service to their clients. They're trailblazing their way through what is perceived as a stuffy industry, and it's a delight to deliver the Finsol message in the ever-changing digital era.
I'm mum to two little girls who keep me on my toes. I'm blessed to live rurally at Waimarama with my daughters and husband, surrounded by native flora and fauna. I'm an avid reader and happiest with my nose in a book and a cup of tea in hand.

People would say that buying a house is a stressful journey- but surprisingly not for us as I found Finsol to guide and help me. I started getting in touch with Nadeesha Jan 2022, we planned how to be ready once my KiwiSaver matures (Aug 2022). Being in different cities was not a hindrance, the process was all done online which was so convenient to us. Then everything was ready Aug 2022, we submitted all the required documents that she needs and hooray, we got approved! She is fantastic, not your ordinary financial adviser. When I was told that I can't get a home loan because I just started my parental leave, when we were told that it would be hard because my husband just started a new job- Nadeesha set my expectations but remained optimistic that we can have this dream come true. She thinks ahead and has plan B, C, D if plan A would fail. She's genuine and quick in answering my email even if it was just to assure me that it's all good as I worry much. Cannot recommend finsol enough! My partner and I have been working with Paul for the past 2 and a half years as he helped us secure a home loan for our first home. As it was a new build which we bought off the plans, the process took longer than expected due to Covid and other things out of our control, but Paul made what was a very stressful time as easy as possible and worked hard to give us the best advice and best possible outcomes.
